A few weekends ago, I ate brunch at Tipsy Parson for the first time. The mouth-watering baked goods and fresh-made butters were enough to make me want to go back every weekend, but the wallpapers made me want to pack my bags and move right on in. This one, Birdcage Walk Peony Place Wallpaper by Nina Campbell, had me hanging out in the bathroom for 15 minutes so I could study it. It’s amazing in person - I’m pretty sure it’s hand-stamped, and the ink has this smushy, tactile quality that is just gorgeous and petal-like and absolutely to die for.
Then there was this one:

I don’t know who designed it, but it was stunning. Also, the waiters all wore ties made of this beautiful black and white Indian-style Jacobean print - I’ll have to go back just so I can get a photo of that, too (ok, and eat more scones, I won’t lie). Tipsy Parson, you are my restaurant soul mate.
